So at work, I use Macs with Adobe stuff on them for doing Flash/Photoshop stuff and at home I use a PC. I noticed a while ago that stuff I would make on the Macs didn't look the same at all (too bright/dark, colors were different) when I viewed it at home. The other day, I decided to finally try taking matters into my own hands and attempted to change the color profiles on my computer at home, as well as possibly fix the color discrepancies between my second monitor and my laptop screen. I managed to change them, but I don't remember how because I was really tired when I did so, and now I'm regretting it and want to change back. At first there was a problem with warm colors seeming desaturated, but when I upped the saturation to bring them out, everything became more saturated and made subtle colors vibrant. Every time I've tried changing my settings, it's only screwed things up in a different way, and I want to be able to entirely revert to the settings I had before.
System information:
Windows 8 64-bit
Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
DELL 2208WFP (1680x1050@59Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Acer Incorporated [ALI])
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M (Acer Incorporated [ALI])
I recall using the "Color Management" thing in the Control Panel to select color profiles, as well as "Graphics Properties" when right-clicking the desktop, but other than that, I don't remember. Even just being able to revert to defaults would be nice, since I can have a blank slate, even if it means I have to tweak settings again to get the as-yet unachieved desirable outcome.
The only important hardware we need to know is your actual monitor make and model
