It's happening very soon, around 4 minutes (Now 15 minutes due to delays...) according to the people at Nasa. Shuttle is ready and awaiting weather conditions for launch.
Cirus cloudes found, the recon plane is looking for the north end and now the weather is RED. So if its still red in 15 minutes then it'll be delayed longer...

We hope not, its currently streaming to just under 7000 people and who knows how many people are watching it over on BBC and NBC.
I'm so watching.
Did this really need another thread? D:

20 minutes to launch?
Awwww shiiit! Did I miss it?
Never-fucking-mind. They were pointing away...
There checking the sky clouds in case the destruct single they might need to self destruct the ship lawl...
And the shuttle could explode if **Long Words** occur during the pass...
Lol. He said, "On the right side of your screen you'll see..."
It's the left of the screen. Silly scientist.
It's not launched yet, they are worried about the weather.
Chances are that fucking Cathy bitch is going to call at 15 seconds and call "no go" because a whispy cloud is overhead.
It's a fucking rocket, a cloud will not sway the path of a fucking rocket

Flying through the cloud causes static build up which in turn can fry electronics :science:
Requesting a direct link so I can stream the video in VLC, please.
Triboelectrification is currently red which is the big weather problem.
Weather update: Best estimate for a break in the cloud is 15mins... 11:08 EDT (15mins)
I hope this is recorded (when it actually goes up) because my internet is total ass.

this is why you are not a rocket scientist. it's more than just clouds. you've got to take in account of wind speed, and a ton of other things. when you have billions of $ at stake, and (later) human lives you can't dick around with little variables.

I don't think human life is there main concern :D

that's why i said later. if the rocket does go off course there is TNT wired inside the rocket to detonate it.
The weather people are reluctant to respond to when do you think we will realisticly go green for weather ...
Now thinking 11:20 EDT...
