The 21-year-old actor said his "famous person's lifestyle" became a problem on the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009, when he became reliant on booze, especially whisky, to have a good time. "There were a few years there when I was just so enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me," he told GQ magazine. Radcliffe claims he has not touched alcohol since he finished filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in August last year. Admitting that he can't seem to drink in moderation, Radcliffe says he likes his new lifestyle, even skipping the latest Potter party in favour of a night on the couch. "I'm actually enjoying the fact I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I'm really pleasant and I'm not f---ing up totally all the time."
Source: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/8269040/daniel-radcliffe-admits-to-drinking-problem
who cares how surprising that a child celebrity didn't grow up properly lets start reporting on normal people's issues instead of celebrities "This just in (via TMZ): Daniel Bedford of Detroit, MI, who currently works as a janitor at a local high school, has admitted to having a drinking problem. More information after this commercial break."
I posted this purely for a pun I thought up, but I forgot it, shrugged it off and posted.
No one cares about him.
He said he quit. It seemed like your typical peer pressure case.
since he finished filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in August last year.
Not related to the articicle but if its finished then why the fuck am i waiting for it.
Harry Potter and the Triple-Digit Proof
Not related to the articicle but if its finished then why the fuck am i waiting for it.
it's not like editing can instantly be done you know.. also, "harry pot-head" ? how does that even relate to the article?
I'd rely on alcohol too if I had to be on set for all those years without letting me kiss Emma Watson.
Child actors
A "drinking problem" doesn't count as one shot after each movie, Daniel.
Not related to the articicle but if its finished then why the fuck am i waiting for it.
special effects/editing take just as long, if not longer, than filming
Doesn't sound like a drinking problem to me. But I am Australian...
Like I've said about Lindsay Lohan and the whole cocaine thing: you can't thrust a child into an environment intended for adults and expect them to react rationally.
So he was drunk during the "pincers" scene?
"harry pot-head" ? how does that even relate to the article?
Sensationalist Headlines
No one cares about him.
The only reason I do is because he's signed on to play Paul Baumer in All Quiet on the Western Front- which is either coming out next year or in 2013. And because he did an excellent acting job in My Boy, Jack.
Where's your magic now Harry?

I respect him because he has REALLY ACTUALLY REAL issues to cause such stress, and that he lasted so long as a child celebrity.
Getting pished is only a problem if you're an arsehole pished. I tend to become nicer and more sociable, so it's no issue.
Doesn't really surprise me, nor do I really care about x having an x problem
Rookie.
I care more about Emma Watson, I would drink her under the table any day.
