This is about two days late, but didn't see a thread for Mr. Badass Cooper here, so decided he deserved it.
I was in the midst of the melee with Charlie Moore, my producer, Neil Hallsworth my cameraman, Vlad Duthiers, my translator, and there was a still photographer from Getty Images with us, photojournalist Jonathan Torgovnik. As things got really out of control, I saw a looter on the roof of the store they'd broken into throw what I think was part of a concrete block into the crowd. It hit a small boy in the head. I saw him collapse. More chunks of concrete were being thrown at the looters on the roof. The injured boy couldn't get up. He'd try and then collapse again. Blood was pouring from his head. He was conscious but had no control over his body. I was afraid someone on the roof would see him lying there and throw another cinder block piece onto him. I was afraid he'd get killed. No one seemed to be helping him. I ran to where he was struggling, and picked him up off the ground. I brought him to a spot about a hundred feet away. I could feel his warm blood on my arms. I stood him up, but he was clearly unable to walk. He wiped his bloody face, and I tried to reassure him. He had no idea where he was, and he clearly couldn't walk, so I picked him up again and handed him over to someone behind that makeshift barricade. Tony, the American businessman, gave the boy a wet towel. He was then taken away by someone else. We don't know what happened to him. I hope he's ok. :patriot:
:fsmug:
Most reporters would've taped it and used it to show "The horrors after this terrific event". Really shows he's a nice guy.
Fuckin badass, a world class reporter who would rather help someone than film them dying.
Anderson Cooper
Now lets see some shops with Rambo clothing on Anderson Cooper and the win level will be infinitely high.
Now lets see some shops with Rambo clothing on Anderson Cooper and the win level will be infinitely high.
i have too agree
Whoever was behind the camera was a fucking asshole
Why is his blood so bright?
Why is his blood so bright?
I was wondering that too.
I was wondering that too.
The amount of hemoglobin (red blood cells) that are in a person can differ slightly, this may cause some peoples blood to be brighter than others if its fresh.
Why is his blood so bright?
Direct sunlight? Hell, I don't know, happily I haven't had to see a little kid running around with his head busted open.
That's pretty cool, this kid is essentially filled with raspberry donut filling
Anderson Cooper should have eaten him. He looks tasty.

Anderson Cooper: Three hundred and sixty degrees of badass.
Anderson Cooper is one badass motherfucker.
That was nice.
Looks like he just finished finger painting. Shows that not all reporters aren't selfish assholes
Looks like he just finished finger painting. Shows that all reporters aren't selfish assholes
most of them still are; clearly the one taking the picture was either an asshole or decided "nah he's helping him"
to everyone bashing the photographer: hey guess how much money he made with these pictures -- that's right, probably more than you will make in a year. you don't know what he's doing with it; for all you know he's donating it all how many of you are over there? oh, right, you're still in high school and can't even afford to donate or help yourselves so why don't you just shut the fuck up
50 years ago this would have been something you just do, and nobody would raise an eyebrow. Now you get praised as a hero for it. I'm not saying his act shouldn't be recognised, I'm saying it's scary how little we actually do to help each other in this society.

Seems biased to me.
Damn, I read "Alice Cooper". Still an awesome guy.
Seems biased to me.
How so? I mean, other reporters are LIVE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE TWO MEN FIRING A GUN BUT ARE DISCLOSED SO FAR AS FAINT POPPING SOUNDS while Cooper is up in armored vests and in the middle of the gunfire/war/etc. He does his job, and again proves that he cherishes so much more.
Damn, I read "Alice Cooper". Still an awesome guy.
Dyslexic?
