Jc2 is also $3/£1.99. Just get it already!
I love how mods like these can have such a great impact on the playerbase, the game really feels alive again. I never expected to see the mod published on Steam though, hopefully this will inspire more developers to lean towards more mod-friendly games?
time to buy on steam
Fuck it, I'm buying it just because this mod.
2,99 euros...I expected it to be a little more cheap. Not sure if I should buy it.
Oh come on, it's only 3 euros after all, I'm sure it's totally worth it.

I bought it when the game first came out at full price and I didn't regret it at all.
Fuck yes, I always wanted to play multiplayer in JC2. Last time I tried was when they were doing test runs for the mod and people DDos'ed them to hell for the fuck of it.
I'm glad they have some stable servers. I never expected this to be on Steam, though. That's very cool. Although I hope they cleaned up the multiplayer UI since the tests they ran, as it looked like ass.
Oh so they actually released it under a free DLC. Damn that's nice. A shame I have bought JC2 for the PS3.
Oh so they actually released it under a free DLC. Damn that's nice. A shame I have bought JC2 for the PS3.
it's a mod, not DLC. as far as I know almost all of it is fan made
I forgot I owned Just Cause 2
it's a mod, not DLC. as far as I know almost all of it is fan made
Its labeled as DLC though
it's a mod, not DLC. as far as I know almost all of it is fan made
What does being fan-made have to do with it being DLC or not?
it's a mod, not DLC. as far as I know almost all of it is fan made
mod = downloadable content stop taking the acronym DLC at face value.
it's a mod, not DLC. as far as I know almost all of it is fan made
Yes it is entirely fan made. However being officially endorsed by the Development team behind the game it's for really breaks the wall between mod and dlc. It is a mod, but because it's now officially supported, it's also a DLC. Both are downloadable content, but one is fan made for fun and the other is officially supported by the dev team.
I never played the single player game but holy fuck the multiplayer is so awesome
This is why Modding is important. Other than going on sell for 80% off, how many people would buy this game otherwise that didn't already own it by now? Not many. Now this huge mod comes out that lets 100 people race and free roam do crazy shit in Just Case fashion and it suddenly hits top seller It breathes new life into the game, it keeps the game alive and on our PC's longer, it finds raw talent that can be useful in the industry (Think of all the modders over the years who have been hired by actual companies, or turned into one) Who still plays Morrowind? Or Battlefield 2? Or even fucking Doom? (I do) Falcon 4.0?
