Aw, c'mon, Bioware, not you too.
even more Dragon age DLC? How swell. Maybe they should sell the game in 10 separate pieces rather than this "day 1 DLC" thing. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline]
Aw, c'mon, Bioware, not you too.
They did it too with mass effect 2 and Dragon age 1. Only then they were "pre-order bonus" or "limited edition bonus"
Oh fuck off, I'm not buying this.

All the major DLCs were released quite after the game was.
This came with the signature edition, which cost the same amount as the normal edition. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] Its sort of like Shale from the first game.
I would probably have pre-ordered it but I have missed out on too much content already, GOTY steam sale edition for me
Why is there a huge thing about this NOW this was announced way back when they announced the Signature Edition aka the preordering even with a short trailer/teaser
If you pre-order now from Bioware you get the rest of the game free!
Somehow I'm not surprised. Oh yeah, it's because everyone and their fucking dog does this shit nowadays.
I would probably have pre-ordered it but I have missed out on too much content already, GOTY steam sale edition for me
Sounds like a plan for you and me both.
Aw, c'mon, Bioware, not you too.
Why so surprised, Dragon Age: Origins & Mass Effect 2 anyone?
DLC for those games was not announced before the fucking game even came out.
Zaeed: The Price of Revenge
Zaeed: The Price of Revenge
Zaeed was free.
Zaeed was free.
Only if you bought the game new
There will come a day when games that announce DLC before the game is even fucking released will be seen as awful ways for companies to milk their consumers and, hopefully, the people will choose not to support these developers. Nothing against Bioware, but this shit has GOT to stop.
Only if you bought the game new
Duh?
Duh?
I'm saying this is just a slight elevation, not something completely out of the blue.
Blergh. I have no problem with day 1 DLC as long as it's FREE. I can understand that once the games ships it's hard to put more stuff on the disk, but if you work on content that will be released the same day the game is out don't make us fucking pay for it.
Aw, c'mon, Bioware, not you too.
Because they didn't do this with DA:O or ME:2. Wait. Yes they did. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] And it's a pre order reward actually. But people always moan that "It's impossible to get pre-order rewards if you don't pre order :'(" Well now they've made it available in-case you missed your chance.
DLC Age 2 : GIVE US MORE MONEY
Welcome to an age in which almost every company tries to screw you over in every possible way just to get that extra dollar out of your pockets. Quite sad really.. ow well nothing we can do about it. The game is probably going to be alot of fun still.
It's a pre-order bonus. If you pre-ordered it before the 11th of January you get it for free. Seeing as most of us have missed that date, they're making it available for everyone for $7. Same as Just Cause 2 did.
There's no reason this couldn't have been in the game upon release.
Well fuck you too then, Bioware
"They are selling a different product Im not interested in that is related to the game I wish to purchase therefor Bioware is retarded" :p
I can't defend this. This isn't even a lengthy dlc. It's probably an hour long quest and a companion with some generic lines. If it's anything like Mass Effect then they'll have no dialogue outside of their quest and during a few critical story points. Rockstar does good dlc. I'm proud to defend them after seeing GTA 4 provide me with 7 hours of new story, character, weapons, vehicles, music, and a reason to return to playing. This is just fuck off.
Needs more TF2 hats.
It's $7, the cost of a meal or two at McDonalds. This doesn't bother me at all, I'll buy it. Maybe if it were something more substantial that cost more I would be annoyed.
No one is complaining about the price. It's the fact that we have to pay to have another companion. On release day.

Ever wonder why PC games are $60 these days?
