I still want to know why valve has gone through the hassle of updating the entire engine except for mac support. I haven't really seen anything new.

Fucking finally, thanks Valve for fixing what you accidentally broke. Slightly improved too!

Bah, the materials identifier that was there in the last update was removed. Makes me sad, but the update is good to have.
I still want to know why valve has gone through the hassle of updating the entire engine except for mac support. I haven't really seen anything new.
I read somewhere recently (so this could be completely untrue) that the latest version of source contains all the changes made to the different branches of the source engine. I would like to know what is meant by / included in "Incorporated many source engine updates".
Now more tools and more simplicity! :science: [editline]08:11PM[/editline] just kidding, thanks VALVe
I was hoping to see something about CSS beta support. :sigh:
Fuck yes
I was hoping to see something about CSS beta support. :sigh:
This is what I was expecting. Good update, though. I'm glad they did it.
Now the question is, when will we be getting Source SDK Base 2009?

I'm still waiting for them to update Faceposer to be compatible with Vista and/or 7... [editline]10:04PM[/editline]
I'm still waiting for them to update Faceposer to be compatible with Vista and/or 7...
And I mean for faceposer to be able to pick up on the voices, it can still be used with either (but doing it all manually is a major hassle)
They added carve to displacments Contrary to popular belief its actually better than the other carve...
They added carve to displacments Contrary to popular belief its actually better than the other carve...
It isn't even close to the other carve, just the same name.
They added carve to displacments Contrary to popular belief its actually better than the other carve...
Carve for displacements has been there for awhile. And it's use is very different from brush carving. [editline]10:07PM[/editline] Here's a tutorial on how to use it: http://www.interlopers.net/tutorials/32664
they fixed hammer? holy fuck yes
