As far as I know, it's called "[URL="http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&tbs=isch:1&sa=1&q=grunge+art&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&start=0&social=false"]grunge[/URL]" art.
It usually involves stencils/silhouettes and dirty textures.
It is grunge.
Whatever it is, I like it alot.

Ya, generally grunge is ugly and generic. There are situations where it is nice, usually in small doses though.
