And roughly half a year ago: http://www.pcgamesn.com/watch-dogs-pc-system-requirements-detailed-horror-32-bit-os-users
Watch Dogs is a now-sort-of-standard 20 gig large, and asks for a DirectX 9 compatible sound card fed with the latest drivers. It doesn’t matter whether you’re running Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, or Windows 8 - so long as it’s 64 bit. Here’s the ‘minimum’ spec: GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB Video RAM CPU: Quad core RAM: 4GB examples: GPU: NVidia GTX 460 // CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 GPU: AMD Radeon HD 5770 // CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9750 Update: Watch Dogs graphics technical director Sebastien Viard, who should know, has said that "the real specs [will be] out soon and will be lower than [these] ones". No specific word on the 64 bit thing, mind.
Uh, yeah. I guess that didn't work out too well...

6gigs of ram, what a weird odd number it requires, I expected it to be 4 or 8.
6gigs of ram, what a weird odd number it requires, I expected it to be 4 or 8.
Not really that odd, 2 extra GB is much compared to 6GB(0.5 or 1 GB for system too). And you have triple channels that have 3x2, so not that weird. Anyway, Thank god that I just upgraded my memory to 8 GB(well techinally 7.5 GB).
Woooo my pc can run this thing!
Dammit my oldish laptop doesn't support directx11. Thankfully I'm upgrading to a full gaming PC this month!
Well this game is already suffering from bullshots, and those specs look pretty low.
I wonder if it will look like it did in the trailers or if it wasn't just the current gen version that looks like an 2006 game.
I wonder if it will look like it did in the trailers or if it wasn't just the current gen version that looks like an 2006 game.
devs have said that almost all of the recent trailers have been PS4 gameplay, while the trailer shown at E3 2012 was the PC version at max settings
Last time i played games, they took up no more than 1,5GB at all times. Has that number really changed? Are they finally using 64-bit binaries?

They've been getting bigger all the time, and now we have discs that can hold far more in the next gen the texture sizes are getting larger etc thus bigger downloads.
Hope I can run it at max I guess.
Memory: 6GB RAM
What the fuck. They claim it's "in line with 7th gen consoles" yet the minimum is 12x the RAM those have?
What the fuck.
Metro 2033 probably, took less than a gig.
Metro 2033 is a 7.5GB dl alone.
Metro 2033 is a 7.5GB dl alone.
not on the ram
not on the ram
O I C. I assumed you meant disk space. My bad. But even then, depends on what texture quality you play at. Metro takes up quite a bit for me but then I like to run everything as high as possible even if my FPS is 15. Watchdogs has a lot of shit going on in the background too
