Killer Instinct to me is one of those things that were only cool because it was the 90's and the shit we saw in that game was so rad for it's time, making a remake of a game like that seems very inane and pointless and by the looks of the trailers/teasers there's really nothing new in there.
They don't even launch with the guy on the cover of the original game

We can't make things rad and awesome anymore because we are all grown up now as a generation and we take ourselves seriously.
That's why whenever I boot up my copy of Battlefield 4 TM I feel like an adult because of the serious atmosphere involving dark tones and military warfare.
Seriously though this game looks fucking awesome, it's just too bad it's a xbone exclusive. I would never expect the same people who made fucking Silent Hill: Homecoming to make such a game.
