Im currently trying to install the software from the Asus website that comes on the system, however whenever I try to install any of it, it gives some stupid ass message about "this program for asus computer only" or some stupid shit like this. Anyone here ever run into a similar problem and know how I could fix it?

Forgot to mention that, yeah there was a lot of shit that I didn't need in it, plus I felt like installing Ultimate over Home Premium.
Yeah, I have a g53sx and after installing a fresh windows I'm getting the same error.
most likely your computer doesn't think it's an ASUS anymore, did you take out the recovery drive when you formatted?
Some serial numbers are bound to the brand of computer/laptop they came with. Not using that serial might result in a failure of that brands specific software installation. Neither you can use that serial on any other PC except that brand.
