I...really don't know what to think, for one, they made it a bit "too"cheesy. Then they made Master Chief a fucking ninja? last time i checked he was a gun toating bad ass that would rather go in guns a' blazing instead of fist fighting and artfully dodging a brute.
also, the atmosphere in the beginning with the mess hall and the ODST guys, just seemed...off

since when is Master Chief a ninja? He didn't fire a single shot, he just punched a brute over and over. Also, it seemed like after stealth killing a few guys, there wasn't anyone left because after they were discovered no one else showed up.

This man is right, about both things too. In the books he was a über-ninja able to jump ontop of rockets and the likes. And since this is anime it will follow [url=http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FightingSeries]TONS of tropes[/url] so it won't be too hard to get a idea of how it will play out.

Yeah, I agree. As much as I like the Halo story arch, this doesn't fit at all and it's so generic.
We have the ambitious marine who wants to be the #1 and acts like a total dick when someone is better than him, we've got the useless and often mute teammembers, the constant "Hyaaargh", "aaargh" "gurrrleeeeee" battle yells. When MC fought the Brute in the water it looked like an episode of Pokémon.
Pretty terrible.
Don't forget that this is just one part of several different stories and animation studios that will be in Halo Legends.
