I'm going to go ahead and order another 100 embroidery patches like the original run of patches we had. I get enough demand and it's been a couple years since the last time so there should be enough interest for me to actually go through with the order.
I just wanted to make this thread to start off to see if any of you wanted something different. Different style, design or what not for example.

I'd be interested in a smaller patch in muted colors. I don't have a lot of velcro because I'm too ~highspeed~ and my field runs red and blue marked teams so a red patch isn't great for me.

I may be interested in getting some more. Personally I'd be far more interested in an entirely new patch, but I'm sure I could justify buying a couple more of the old ones.
I'm up for new designs and such. But I lack the ability to design anything and the creativity to make up something anyway.
I agree with there being a new design. What else will distinguish this from the OG patches? I can't contribute to design, but I can say that a subdued patch of some kind, or a unit patch would be cool. The diamonds were supposed to be unit patch-ish, but they came out much too small.
Nothing. I thought about some sort of little "V.2" in a corner somewhere. I'm going with the original design because a bunch of people have lost their patches, need more or never got a chance to order one.
Black and White embroidered?
I'd love something like the diamond patches just slightly bigger and without the velcro. They're just the right style and color, so I've been considering removing the velcro from one and sewing it onto my M81 jacket as a faux US unit patch.
As for something new entirely, if we go black & white then I could live with that. I'll probably get one just for the sake of having one if it's a new design.
The OG patch was before my time, so I'd like a few of these
Personally I'd quite like a square patch, since square stuff looks better on Gorkas as far as I care, but more diamonds would be ok too

Something rectangle, maybe standard IR flag size would be nice too since it fits a little better on most people's gear.
I need a vanilla patch in the first pic because I lost mine in the war of CQB city and using it to keep my MSF patch on my velcro.
I really like the idea of a ribbon of text, like the Diamond Dogs logo. Also a bigger patch would be nice (or a choice of varying sizes)
Also lets make the patch a hexagon so we can be futuristic as fuck.

If anyone is good with making designs you're free to post stuff.
I'm still gonna order 100 "legacy" FP patches since, like I said, I think there is a demand for them for people past and present still. Any patch that gets produced, regardless of design will have velcro though. That's not a negotiable thing really since so much tactical gear uses velcro. The guys who still sew patches on gear are the minority.
Please make a minor adjustment to distinguish from the original run.
I just don't know what I can do to distinguish it.
I feel like having a "MARKII" "V2" sort of mark would look bad on the patch.
Maybe small text along the white rim in the bottom corner that says "Second Edition" or "393 Edition" or "393" or "IFAP" or "Facepunch" or "Legacy"

I don't see anywhere to hide it, unless we make a new rectangle or square design. In which case you could hide it in the corner, or vertically on one side I guess
I'd love a set with our FP###'s on them, I know it'd be a bit costlier but the pride would be real

Here's my design for a subdued rectangle patch. Something like this in 2"x4" would be really nice since most velcro slots are designed with those dimensions in mind and also it's not glaring red.

Maybe just keep the patch the same design, but frame it into a square patch.
That way, you know you're cool for having an OG circle patch, otherwise you're clearly just a square.
