• Good seedbox host?

Can someone recommend me a good seedbox host? My upload is shit with Time Warner and someone of the private torrent sites hate it when you have a crap upload and I am about at the minimum with mine. I would prefer one with a good amount of hard drive space. Usually something over 50GB but not to pricey. Maybe $15+ a month would be good. US also.
Private linux distro torrent sites?
Private linux distro torrent sites?
Of course. I don't really know much about this sort of thing, but couldn't you just find a cheap VPS and do the same thing?

But I found a good host anyways. Fits everything I really need. So just let this thread die.
Care to share the host you found for others?
There's Feral Hosting who have seriously nice prices for what they offer. [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] Compwhizii uses it to seed his linux distros and he recommends it.

If you're willing to pay for downloads you should look into usenet.
Host it yourself, unless you're on some shitty dial-up internet.
If you're willing to pay for downloads you should look into usenet.
But does usenet have most of the linux distro like torrents do?
But does usenet have most of the linux distro like torrents do?
yes
Usenet has like everything in the entire planet. Haha.
And you don't have to worry about seeders. Full speed all the time, and no ratios!
Well once this month runs out of the host I will look into usenet.
If you're willing to pay for downloads you should look into usenet.
Doesn't most ISP's block the ports to Usenet?? [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline]
Usenet has like everything in the entire planet. Haha.
If I'm not mistaken, you can get your own copy of the universe from there. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] There's a thread on SomethingAwful about Usenet, contains some useful information about it: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3270361
Can anyone recommend a cheap usenet provider then?
I can also recommend Byte Sized for a seedbox. They've never done me wrong. http://bytesized-hosting.com/
Doesn't most ISP's block the ports to Usenet??
Most usenet providers allow you to use a few different ports. Including port 80. Also, most hosts include SSL support in their plans so your ISP has no idea what you're downloading. I've used both Astraweb and Newsdemon and they have been great so far. Both offer an unlimited plan for $11/month (just do a google search for a deal, they don't advertise that price on their sites). I got lucky and got a black friday deal with newsdemon and I'm paying $5.50/month for unlimited. Also, I highly recommend using Newzbin as your indexing site. They make you pay, but it's dirt cheap. (only a couple bucks for 8 weeks)
