Downloading is blocked at school by the administrator.

Its school, do school work.
using another browser might solve your problems but the school has it set up like this for a reason

Well then as far as I know using account control and GP they can only block internet explorer stuff. Install the portable version of firefox onto a USB at home, then use it at school
I will try putting firefox on my usb stick and put it there on the pc.

Downloading is blocked at school for a reason, go find somewhere else to download. Like at home.
How downloading is blocked if you can access websites? There is sure one way to workaround from your own pc.
If you have a legitimate reason to want to get around the current block, take up a complaint with them.
Otherwise, it's school, play by their rules, do what your meant to be doing..
Also, do they just stop you downloading .exe's or what?
