Trying out some new coloring pencils.
God apparently likes mini-doughnuts.
Why do people think it's a donut ._.
It's an egg.

It has a hole in the middle with shading leading too the hole
yup thats a donut
That looks like something out of "Heavy Metal"
With colored pencils, don't be afraid to push down really hard and layer the colors really thick.
You can get some really beautiful and vibrant gradients that way

My gradients don't need to make sense :smug:

also, it would be a good album cover
I see a hole.
I think that's supposed to be a baby universe.
The fact that it's cracked open shows that God is a terrible parent

Did you not at all notice all the cracked lines that clearly show an eggshell?

The point is that at first glance it looks like a hole. Mainly because the shading is off and its giving a bad illusion of it being a hole. If anything it looked like one of those stupid as shit little things of cheese that people buy to eat.
I saw an egg first. And I like the square cuts out of the sides of the hand (Not so much in the middle because the squares look overlaid and flat)
Also this belongs in creative work that doesn't deserve a thread
Wait, I'm a bit confused here. Is that a hole or some other object inside of the egg?
zombie hand of god...
Colored pencils are very much an under appreciated medium, glad to see someone working with it.
For those of you who haven't seen what can be accomplished, heres an example as done by my art teacher. (I think this is an older example of his work with chrome) It's a motorcycle.
‘107 Cubic Inches’

Also, what brand of colored pencils are you using? Make sure you're using a high-quality sharpener, you'll dramatically increase the life-span of your pencils.
Your art teacher is amazing

That's unbelievable. I'm assuming he used a photograph as a reference, since you can see a photographer in the reflection.
You're lucky to have an art teacher that is actually incredibly talented, unlike most of my art teachers.

I'm using both Polychromos and Progresso (Because they were missing colors of each, I just took a mixture of both to get all the colors I wanted.)
Also, wow. Amazing.
