OK, so I wake up, it's the first day of school. I go to the computer to get my last minute internet fix, but there's a problem. My entire display is black and white. I have no idea on how this happened. I restarted my computer, made sure the monitor cable is secure, and it still is black and white. Here are my specs:
------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 1/4/2010, 18:51:56 Machine name: (deleted)-PC Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.090805-0102) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion System Model: KJ379AA-ABA a6400f BIOS: BIOS Date: 01/31/08 10:59:20 Ver: 5.19 Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz Memory: 3070MB RAM Page File: 1316MB used, 5037MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 10 DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 6.00.6001.18000 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. If you go into the BIOS is that in black and white?
If its still in the bios go into the monitor settings and look for some color setting adjustment.
If you go into the BIOS is that in black and white?
Not sure, let me check. [editline]07:39PM[/editline] BIOS is coloured, but I noticed something on startup. The display would be in colour for a while, then it goes to black and white.
