Heh, thanks for reminding me about the gloves, and as for the Holster - After extensive shopping I finally found one that would fit a 1911 that didn't cost around $50.

The feeding ramp has been polished to a mirror sheen, preventing feeding problems. The slide has been replaced with a reinforced version.
