YouTube is testing a new player - Polidicks

The biggest difference is that the controls overlap the video and disappear when you're not using them. There are instructions in the article for enabling the new player.

Looks alright, although hopefully the "Watch Later" feature is hidden behind the cog that is the settings menu, though it's always there in the Add To menu so you could still do it even without having it on the player bar. Hopefully the increase in bar transparency won't increase the RAM consumption too much for each video, since as anyone who's entered a video thread can attest, having a bunch of videos load in on the same page can kinda eat up your RAM and in some cases slow your browser to a crawl for a few moments. At least that's how it seems to be with Firefox, I dunno if Chrome and Opera avoid that hiccup better.

mine's set to us english and doesn't work so there's some other variable that we don't know about could be since I'm using Chrome Canary instead of the normal chrome browser
