Recently I've been quite obsessed with Escher cube and other impossible objects and these are some of the concepts I came up with =)

This is the first one I came up with. I was bored at class so I decided to draw an escher's cube. Also ramped it up a bit by making it in perspective with 2 focal points. It was a bit of a nightmare to draw since I had no previous experience:

Then I was nuts or something since I decided to make a 15 frame animated rotation of an escher cube -.-

This is a simple concept, simplified the perspective and added that swirvy line thing (whatever it's called):

I this one while bored at classes during the week. Started with the escher's cube, then continued with the grafitti arrows and then proceeded to add the outlline etc.[U]

I'm quite an insomniac and yesterday I couldn't sleep till 4am, so I drew this then passed out around 5am.

Yea, the first one was definitely traced ;)
I didnt say that I came up with the cube or any of the impossible objects here. I just used them for something more colourful and fun...
Also, I know how to draw any of the impossible objects by heart =)
It reminds me a lot of street art. Really great use of color!

They look quite good, but don't overdo it 'cause when it gets too confusing and crowded it isn't fun to look at anymore.

I dunno, it would be possible to achieve the effect with the use of angles but any other way nope =P
colour pencilwork could use to be smoother.
if you think about it for a bit you did a massive fuckup with placing some of the shadows.

Yea, I haven't worked with pencils in a loooooong time (mostly only B&W lineart) so hopefuly my pencilwork'll get smoother.
I try to improve and don't usually finish a drawing if I spot a fuckup but that was so late in the process so I decided to leave it =P
Also, some of these impossible objects are a nightmare to shadow, how the hell would you shadow that impossible triangle -.-
I'm working on a new impossible object in the same style (prolly the escher stairs) so any suggestions on how to make it better (and maybe even more of a mindfuck while keeping it clean) before I finish it are welcome =D
