So yeah we all know what monstrocity is Action 52.
And now they are planing to release a fixed version of Cheetahmen 2.
IN A WORLD OF DIGITAL DOWNLOADS, GREG PABICH IS FACING ALMOST UNBEATABLE ODDS. HE IS TRYING TO PROMOTE RETRO GAMING BY PUBLISHING ON AN NES CARTRIDGE. IF THAT SOUNDS HARD, CONSIDER THAT HIS PUBLISHING EMPIRE IS BASED UPON THE MOST NOTORIOUS GAME FRANCHISE IN ALL OF GAMING HISTORY--- "ACTION 52" FEATURING THE CHEETAHMEN.
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, IN THE EARLY 1990's, VINCE PERRI OF ACTIVE ENTERPRISES RAISED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO PRODUCE A "MULTICART" CONTAINING 52 GAMES THAT WOULD BYPASS NINTENDO's LICENSING HURDLES AND ALLOW HIM TO SELL A SINGLE CART WITH 52 GAMES FOR THE PRICE OF $199 OR AS THEY LIKED TO ADVERTISE, LESS THAN $4 PER GAME.CONSIDERING THAT GAMES AT THAT TIME COULD RUN $40-$60 APIECE, IT WAS TO BE A PATH TO FAME AND FORTUNE. UNFORTUNATELY, PERRI LOCKED THREE COLLEGE KIDS IN A ROOM, WHO HAD NO PRIOR GAME PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE, RESULTING IN THE TRAINWRECK KNOWN AS ACTION 52.
Opinions ?
Nice to see some dedication towards the title.
Not nice to see what the title actually is.
For disclaimer this is pretty much a scam:

This Greg Pabich guy has multiple factory sealed copies of Action 52 which can go sell for prices upward of about $300-$400 each. Now on top of that he also owns several original production cartridges of Cheetahmen 2 which can go for just under a $1,000 and not to mention all the different pirated cartridges of the game he owns. This guy is not hard off at all, and it looks like he'll live comfortably until the day he dies.
He also lives in a fucking cheetah mansion and has a cheetahmen shrine or some shit.
Yeah this is either a serious scam or seriously misguided.
goty 2kever

The fact the dude lives in a house like that and somehow acquired all that shit yet can't afford an endeavor like this makes 0 sense.

I'm not sure he even thought about that. I think the thought process was "hey remember that broken game i made? hey i should pledge to fix it finally! we should make a huge spectable about it!!! but how will i know if people want that?? i know ill make a kickstarter!!!" and it probably never occurred to him that a) pay for it yourself and b) there are already rom hacks for it c) almost nobody is going to buy it because so few people have a nes to play it on. i think he just got caught up on wanting to do something and wanting to make an internet spectacle of it
so it's either a passive, or aggressive scam. but still a scam.
fuck ive had to wait 22 years for these patches to fix my game and it aint free fuckkk
Make one copy.
Send it to the AVGN.
Let the advertising make itself!

1.) AVGN was part of the ad video for it
2.) AVGN already played it but doesn't feel like wasting time on another video for it
3.) You can pay $5,000 basically for a cartridge with his signature on the kickstarter
Fucking joke, hope this dies.
