Much nicer cover art then the thing Pete Hines commented on a few weeks ago.
So basically this is the "Ultimate Edition" of Skyrim, the leg of turkey with all the trimmings? Eh, makes sense; if I were still into Skyrim I'd be interested, but the current "full-price" of modern triple-A titles is too off-putting for me to do that. Then again, the extra content makes it more worthwhile, with the high price somewhat justified. Actually, come to think of it, the size and scope of the game did seem well worth the £28 I shelled out for it and the 110 hours I put into it, so I got my moneys worth from it.
$60? Really? Thats to much for me.
Why not call it GOTY edition like all the other games?
$60? Really? Thats to much for me.
The base game is $40, Dawnguard is $20, Hearthfire is $5, and Dragonborn is $20 You're getting $85 of content for $60; seems pretty fair to me.
it's not really worth $85 to a lot of people though tbh
60$ ? Fuck off. The GOTY edition of fallout 3 which came with five expansions was worth 40$ on release. Fallout New Vegas, a game that came out barely a year before skyrim, is currently sold on steam with all of its four DLCs for 20$. And they want to sell us this year-old game with all of its shitty overpriced DLC 60$ ? Are they insane ?

Meh, DLCs aren't that great, not as good as Shivering Isles.
Skyrim was disappointing in terms of dlc
Skyrim was disappointing in terms of dlc
They certainly weren't worth the twenty bucks each. Hearthfire is a joke too. When it comes to post-release content skyrim was really a massive letdown. They showed all of this cool shit they made after release in that one video and, in the end, only a tiny portion of it made it through the updates. The actual cool stuff was judged sufficient to warrant an entire DLC and were put in those, which was not only very frustrating but also made these DLCs absolutely terrible because they only rely on those additions, and nothing else. Some of these additions did make it through with mods though like footprints and such, but come on, how hard is it to include it for free in your game ? These should have been in there from the beginning.
Glad to see the Collector's Editions are becoming just as pointless as Regular editions... [editline]25th April 2013[/editline]
Why not call it GOTY edition like all the other games?
Latest update is all about the Legendary difficulty.
Skyrim is still one of the bestsellers on Steam. I think they can get away with a $60 price tag.
