It's something happening in progress right now so I don't really have much of a news article but here are links to results

Will update with selected winner once the state totals are collected, should be 1-2 hours from now till a winner is decided. Polls closed just a bit ago and less than 1% is reporting in at time of writing.

Trump looks like he won it.
I just got back from the Caucus at Liberty High; people were going nuts over Trump Jr's little speech. Not many were cheering on other candidates. Based on all the signs, posters, t-shirts, and trump-chanting people, I'm going to call it now: Trump won Nevada.
Oh yeah, I also saw Ben Carson at Coronado. He talks really quietly.
you know its bad when the republicans are running on
"hey you see that building over there? i own it!"
and
"in 1970 when i was 7 years old, my father moved my family here...for a year, and thats why i understand the plight of this city today!"
or
"hey i believe you should have the right to release your cattle onto federal land unrestricted because the government is too big!"
I think what makes this election year so interesting is the record breaking turnout on the republican side for their voting
Going to make it a very close race in the end
CNN projected winner but still only ~1% reporting in

Nevada isn't really a republican state in general though, any larger turnout than usual is record breaking
Everyone is projecting Trump as the winner. Everyone else can drop out.

I would say 10,000 more people than in 2012 is a pretty significant number

John and Ben need to drop out after this loss.
rubio's climbing up though, but i honestly don't know how he's ever going to be able to overtake trump once the winner-take-all south comes around, rubio simply can't win the south
John and Ben need to drop out after this loss.
Well according to Carson, he still feels like there is movement in his campaign and isn't dropping out. But yes he really does need to realize that he's getting nowhere
I'm ashamed of my fellow countrymen.

Are you insane? Nevada is about as republican as it gets. That is until you go south to see the truck loads of liberal Californians living in Las Vegas and such. Anything north of Vegas is basically Republican land.

Nevada is pretty 50/50 in election history

You're forgetting that they're a couple urban areas in the Northern Nevada area. It just the rural areas that are painted red.
Trump got 46% of the Hispanic vote. That is amazing, he is such a super racist huh?

Idk I have just read that Nevada is a very hard to predict state because of low turnout in the Republican caucuses. ya it's red but like Las Vegas and Reno are the two major population centers, the rest of the state is pretty empty
can't wait for my boy trump to win
At 9% trump has more than 2nd and 3rd combined. He is just running away with this now. I can see this having a big impact on super Tuesday

Are you somehow implying he isn't? Because with all his divisive rhetoric regarding Mexicans and Muslims, its pretty clear where he stands. Also, what you just reported is only for the Republican vote, its not like saying 46% of all Latinos in Nevada are voting for trump. In addition, approximately 35% of Latinos in Nevada are Republican (so, he just got 46% of 35% of Latinos assuming all of them voted).

I'll give you my Steam account if you can prove he ever said anything racist.

Anyways, him winning is great news. He has even more momentum for Super Tuesday, it's extremely exciting to see that people realize Trump is the only one who can fix our country.

Out of GOP voters. There can be only 100 Hispanic GOP voters in the entire state for all that matters.
A vast, vast majority of hispanics will be voting Democratic in November.

Is his idea of giving Muslims special ID badges and barring any movement in or out of the country not inherently racist? If that isn't promoting some kind of institutional racism I really don't know what is. In the modern context, race and religion are extremely intertwined right now.
I am very much not okay with having to register myself in a database targeting only Muslims. Not only that, why should I be subjected to being unable to travel to other countries and then be banned from re-entering the US despite me being a citizen?
He said "tens of thousands of people" were entering America with "cell phones with Isis flags on them...I don't think so."
Mr Trump went on: "They're not coming to this country if I'm president. And if Obama has brought some to this country they are leaving, they're going, they're gone."
I mean seriously, he is making essentialist statements and then promoting the creation of laws that target the most vulnerable people in our society.
He also said he loved the well educated as well. That statement is more in tune with his rallies where he says common core and other education methods are terrible.

Do you not remember last year when he accused Mexican immigrants of being rapists and drug traffickers?
Do you not remember last year when he accused Mexican immigrants of being rapists and drug traffickers?
THIS AGAIN. He was calling out ILLEGAL immigrants.
The plurality vote he won with Latinos is still remarkable, you all can stick with your loser Bernie.
THIS AGAIN. He was calling out ILLEGAL immigrants.
THIS AGAIN.
are you saying illegal immigrants are rapists and thieves?? the issue is that he is specifically targeting actual human beings and declaring them thieves and rapists, the legality does not come into it. the issue is him calling them thieves and rapists.
THIS AGAIN.

Well they're undeniably criminals, although it's presumptuous to take it as far as rape and burglary
THIS AGAIN.

I didn't say that. But they are all criminals none the less and don't deserve to be in my country if they can't be bothered to come here legally and integrate.
