Choosing a screen that will give me the best output from my GPU.

So basically, I have to buy a new screen as my old one melted (literally, half of it melted).
But I have no idea what to look for to get the best image from my GPU.

My GPU is Radeon HD7970, thanks in advance.
I am not providing the price as it is based on the screen size.

Well the best would be a 27 inch 1440p screen but if you're not into the the off brand Korean models you'll pay a pretty penny. But if that's not for you mosts 1080p monitors with good reviews and a decent response time 20-24 inches would do.

A 7970 will easily max out everything at 1080p, 1440p too however might struggle a bit on things like crysis 3 etc. So 27" 1440p or 22-24" 1080p. Or you could go for a 24" 1920 x 1200.
