• Hard plastic or soft rubber?

Hey guys, I honestly dont know the difference in the performance with both. I've always had a soft mouse pad to play with , but now its starting to get dull in some overly used areas. Its a pretty big mouse pad, and its been great to me also. But I wanted to get a new one, and I have used a hard mouse pad, but that was long ago. What I'm worried about if I get a hard mouse pad, would the "Mouse feet" get burned away a lot quicker or what? Can someone help me choose what type of mouse pad I should get? I play FPSs, MMOs, RTS, etc, basically all types of games! Thanks to anyone who posts in advance! It will really help me choose what to buy! :)
What I'm worried about if I get a hard mouse pad, would the "Mouse feet" get burned away a lot quicker or what?
Looking at the bottom of my G500 after about a year of use with a Razer Sphex this seems to be true. I don't really mind if I ever have to replace the pads - a hard mat is worth it in my opinion.
I have the razer destructor. I really like it. I wouldn't go back to a soft mouse pad.
Alright thanks guys...
I dont use a mouse pad just the wooden surface that happens to be my desk.
