I find it cool because Denzel did all of his own fighting. Makes him 110% more badass.

Why don't you actually give us proper information about the movie instead of this shit.
I loved the whole vibe and feel of the movie. It's definitely one of the better movies I've seen in these past few years, especially after seeing the atrocity that was Leap Year.

[sp]The book is a Bible.[/sp] I figured out that a LONG time ago... I believe that is supposed to be the twist...
[sp] Is this how to use spoliers tags[/sp]

No the plot twist is...
WARNING MAJOR SPOILER!!!!!
[sp]After Carnegie spends all his man power and effort into getting the book from Eli, upon opening it he finds out the book is written in braille. The camera then pans to Eli's eye and we see that he is actually blind, that attributes to his acute senses and mad skills. He is also apparently the only person who is able to read braille. Carnegie who got all his men and guards killed, begins to laugh as he realizes the town that he so desperately wanted to save by using the Bible has begun to riot and torn itself apart. Eli dies while he recites every line from the Bible to an old man who is writes it down in order for it to be reprinted to the masses.[/sp]
[sp] Wrong the blind lady can [/sp]

WARNING MAJOR SPOILER!!!!!
[sp]He is blind and the book(bible) is in braille so noone else can read it. [/sp]
Ah, okay. I hadn't seen the movie yet. It's all good though, I don't mind spoilers.
I can't wait to see it. It seems like the most awesome movie this year so far.
[sp] Wrong the blind lady can [/sp]
[sp]No she can't, she was born post-war thus she wasn't educated enough to read it. Only Eli could because he was alive before the bombs.[/sp]

It was just as good as most of Denzel's previous movies, like Devil in a Blue Dress and Inside Man, maybe even better. Denzel Washington played his role spectacularly, along with Gary Oldman who also did a phenomenal job.
Would the bible really make the world all perfect again?
It usually causes wars, prejudice and death.

The Bible can be used both ways. It causes wars but it can also bring alot of people together to form peace. It really depends on how it's used. In a situation like this, it does more good than bad.
The war was about religion
This is the best movie ever.
It was a lame attempt at being tolerant.

Looks like someone refuses to see the good side of anything.
I mean God damn, Isaac Asimov even wrote a book that focused on the idea that religion is a powerful uniting tool, and he was an atheist.
:byodood: MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear it was shit, but that wont stop me from seeing it.
They say that because they though OMFG ACTION LULZ but if was pretty good
It was a lame attempt at being tolerant.
What? The movie is excellent on its own. The mere fact that the book is the Bible itself does not relinquish the fact that this was an amazing movie.

To be honest, I truly cannot think of any better book to be used in the capacity it was in this movie.

I thought the same, but unfourtanetly alot of people will call this movie blasphemy and that it's attempting to push religion on people, such is ignorance.
It was a really good movie, great art direction, great original score with cool sounds, cool action scenes and a really cool plot idea.
