I wasn't really sure what to do, I got a message in my inbox saying that somebody had tried to access my account from the aforementioned address. Any chance that IP address is linked to an account here?

I don't think 'hack' is the correct word.
It's iffy, but it's a more or less acceptable use of the word. It was more brief than "Somebody tried to guess the password to my FP account," and you obviously knew what I was trying to say, so what difference does it make?
