War of the Worlds Google Logo - General

[img]http://www.google.com.au/logos/hgwells09.gif[/img] In the last Google UFO logo topic we said we'd make a new one for every new Google logo: so here's this one. Tripods (like the ones from War of the Worlds) attacking a farm. I think it looks pretty cool... another neat logo in this recent UFO thing that Google has had going on. Clicking on the logo takes you to the google search for H.G. Wells (author of War of the Worlds). I noticed this logo at half past two in the morning (this morning is September 21). H.G. Wells birthday was September 21.

So is this like the third alien thin google has done now? What is the meaning of them all?

Another point I added is that today is September 21, the same date that H.G. Wells was born. Anyone know what dates the other logos appeared on, and specifically what search results they gave you when you clicked on them?

But yes, you are correct, they'd appear to be quadrupedal in nature, not tripods (unless that fourth thing is something else... like their 'heat-ray' or something).
