• Getting a new laptop this week, help!

If I were buying a desktop computer, I'd spend weeks doing research on my own. But this is different. I'm gonna be getting a laptop within the next couple of days, and I have no idea what to get. I'm going to be using it for: -Programming -Music Production (less important) -Gaming (least important) I'd love a big screen but under 15" would be fine. I'd like upwards of 200GB of memory. I want one that's aesthetically pleasing too :3 I'd prefer it with as little pre-installed software as possible! I already have access to Windows 7 and everything else I could need! Help me facepunch! P.S. Don't worry about a budget, just try to make it as cheap as possible.
Budget?

I got this a few days ago (had no idea they even sold computers, let alone a few actual good ones). http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod1830798&navAction=push Got it mostly for image editing, some light 3d modeling for school, notes for class and games. Works perfectly for all of those, so it should work fine for what you need. Has a large screen, quite a bit of ram, and 1tb of storage space. Only downsides I've noticed are it comes with some preloaded software, but that's easy and fairly quick to remove. Battery life isn't too hot, about 2 or 3 hours (3 if you enable power saving mode, 2 without the power saving mode). It's also partitioned oddly. Windows is on a 450gb partition, while there's an empty 600gb or so on another. Sucks unless you wanted to dual boot.
Good luck with that.
What are you talking about? That's not exactly unreasonable. A lot of mainstream consumer laptops have even more than that.

Memory size and hard drive size are two different things. So yes, 200 GB of memory is in fact unreasonable. 200 GB of hard drive space isn't. In fact, you would be hard pressed to not find a 200 GB+ hard drive in most new laptops.

But yeah recently "memory" has been adapted to refer to just RAM. Anyways, I decided on the Asus G73. Thoughts?

Thoughts?
memory is ALWAYS ram disk space is hard drive I would recommend an ASUS, you can get one in whatever size you want, they have 13, 14, 15 + inch laptops, they look good, they're durable so just find one that suits your budget which I know you said doesn't matter too much
memory is ALWAYS ram disk space is hard drive
Then I've been saying it wrong all these years ._.
