On the morning of November 9, Théodore Ferréol sat in front of his computer in Paris and wondered what had just happened. Ferréol is not an American citizen and so hadn’t voted for Donald Trump personally. But as an occult researcher, he knew about those who claimed responsibility for Trump’s upset election victory: an online group that spreads images of

“I've been observing [this phenomena] first hand for quite some time now,” Ferréol told me. “And I'm fascinated at the way internet folklore is turning into something new—not exactly activism, not exactly religion, but something close to a new form of magic and animism in an era when communities have transformed into tribes. And they are savage, creative and, as we now know, really powerful,” he added, referring to the online communities where Pepe is literally considered a god.
holy fuck dude the only thing magical here is that people are somehow getting paid to write articles for major news sources about memes
“I think meme magic is going global,” Ferréol told me. “And I think that believing in meme magic is a motivational key to success.”
is this guy just trolling the shit out of the writer of the article or is this whole thing supposed to be self aware?
Check 'em
Meme magic is what caused the Les Baines crash
Praise Kek!

Mods, please ban this heresy
this is as dumb as thinking Hillary runs a satanic child sex ring, or that she assassinated Scalia
Full title:
Garbage Online Journalists Believe Trump’s Occult Online Supporters Exist And Unironically Believe ‘Meme Magic’ Got Him Elected
Other sources show an increase in Tyson chicken nuggets and mountain dew code red in what can only be assumed is a satanic ritual
I mean I guess if meme magic translates to his opposition having such a godawful, arrogant campaign that couldn't be bothered to even try and woo prospective voters then sure, that sounds right

daily reminder that those that denounced trump were punished, and those that were either praised by trump or used his services were rewarded.
Vice is a real roller coaster in article quality that it's fascinating sometimes.

Ever since they got bought out, I've pretty much completely stopped relying on them for the investigative journalism they were once known for.
Something in the back of my mind tends to want to bet that the quality of their journalism had something to do with them being bought out and effectively reduced to a tabloid.
-whoops-
Meme magic crashed a plane once, so i'll believe anything.
I think the cherry on top of it all was when the Hillary campaign thought that trying to 'bury' Pepe was somehow a good use of any amount of time or resources.
She fought the frog.
The frog won.
At this point, I still think that the alt-right are just trolls having fun fucking with people

when people get offered a huge chunk of change in exchange for their principles, most are already spending some of the chunk
/pol/ is the ultimate satire. It's so far off that it's come full circle and become right 100% of the time. Reality is a joke, and they're the audience.
Also in an unrelated post; Praise Kek

Magic and politics have a long history together. The subject is more fascinating then game of thrones and even more bizarre.
oh, and
[sp]This "occult researcher" is probably the only human alive right now who unironically took this seriously whilst sitting in his study, scrolling down a pol thread and reciting "Fascinating" to himself every time he sees the cartoon frog appear.[/sp]
Don't know why you quote the "occult researcher" since the most hardcore occult researchers take this frog very seriously in black magic forums. Some of them go as far to worship it and some even make up stories about their astral meetings with the said frog who claims to be "the new devil".
You are underestimating how deluded people can get.

Why all magic considered black? That is a christian artifact.
Why all magic considered black? That is a christian artifact.
It's not. They don't take frog too seriously in New Age forums, who are often called white magic sheeple by the black magic folk. Black magic and white magic are usually terms used loosely by LHP folk to describe the desire behind the magic. If it serves you and mostly you, or is oriented around physical and animalistic desires then it can be called a black magic.
They are all equally obnoxious.

Once you realize what a joke everything is, being a /pol/lack is the only thing that makes sense.

This.
Being the troll that burns everything is the only option that makes sense.
Actually this is the funniest part. People like that dude who wrote this article would look at your post, and seriously interpret it as you showing your unwavering devotion to meme magic and kek.
It's all face value to them. They just do not understand the context in the slightest. It's hilarious.
its moreso your annoying misuse of spoiler tags than your devotion to keeping the illuminat Meme Magic out of the public eye

TBH i was in pol when the election results started to seep in about hillary being in the lead.
Meme magic is a joke and only retards took it halfway serious, but its not something made up post-facto-victorium or anything... people were shanting "meme magic" memes to pull the favour to trump and posting stuff of gore etc as sacrifice while hillary was still winning.
When he actually started to take lead it exploded, and wasn't just poll but most of the chan boards. It wasn't just one or 2 threads it was most threads.
Pretty sure that meme magic was a /tv/ thing, back when GermanWings Flight 9525 crashed and then people started baneposting and finding weird similarities between it and the infamous plane scene from the dark knight rises, even right down to how the flight number can be calculated to being the exact moment said scene ends:

1. Edited image
2. Calculating and posting at right time, hoping to get lucky
3. Poking into system by 4chan employees
4. Something else
Not magic.
But it's most definitely the first case. Go check the post using archives, I'm betting my ass that it's something totally unrelated.
