It's full of Steam API and tools code, including lots of unused/internal ones
People at Valve won't get fired. Some speculate (including myself) that the private licensee.valvesoftware.com server has been subject to IP spoofing of licensees to obtain the source code to the engine, due to them using a whitelist to keep other people from snooping around.
But basically if you break in, you have access to Source over the Internet.

This is nothing like back in 2003 other than the fact that this validates that Valve have not done anything significant for Episode Three in 2007. Considering the gold status of Episode Two at the time, this is pretty understandable, but understanding Valve's development progression in the past, this may also indicate they have nothing significant done for Episode Three right now.

As disappointing as that is I'm actually kind of glad nothing from Ep3 leaked. They probably have that stuff on different servers that aren't even on a WAN anyway.
