• Would a HD6850 be bottlenecked by my specs?

My specs are Q6600 2.4ghz (quad core) cpu 4gb DDR2 800 ram Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L also, how would it compare to say, a hd4870? (my old card before it broke) Also how would these specs run crysis? Would they at least max tf2, and maybe dragon age origins? My power supply is 650W (dont remeber the brand, but its a decent well known one) would that be enough for the card?
HD6850 would blow a HD4870 out of the water I have a severely bottlenecked system (32 bit, dual core cpu) and I can max out Source engine, Crysis 2, etc no problems whatsoever. With a HD6850 of course, or else I wouldn't have said anything. How much are they now? I have my box still and it was $219.99. If it's cheaper, spoil yourself.

If anything your RAM may be holding you back a tad. The 6850 would be optimal for your current PC.

I bought the hd6850 and installed it, and i can run crysis on med high with 2xaa at like 25-30fps.
C2, I'd say..is probably easier to run than Crysis 1
