You see I have it and was just wondering if i should renew it when the time comes... it's already stopped a few viruses and a shitload of tracking cookies so im thinking I should, its just that I want the best anti-malware you can buy.
haha notron [editline]07:45PM[/editline] but yeah its ok nod 32 is better
No.. No it isn't. It's fucking NORTON.
There's better free stuff out there.
Get avast! and destroy the poison that is Norton.
Common sense 2010 is my favorite, it just came out.

Short Answer: No. Long Answer: FUCK NO
Norton is total shit. www.eset.eu
Eset is worse, but Norton is a resource hogger, so I'd watch what you use, and it also depends on Computer Specs. Norton Avira and Eset require 1GHZ Processer with 1GB of ram. The rest is 1Ghz with 512MB or higher, This should be the minimum starting range. Otherwise Eset or Avira, never Norton, I learnt that after I purchased Norton 360 V1, knew it was shit after 3 days. Constant updating, Constant crap scanning, and after 10 scans it finally picked up a conflicker virus. Ewww.
hell no! get rid of that shit and get like AVG, it just came out with 9.0 the other day. but if your buying get nod32 its the best.
conflicker
called conficker, not conflicker also NOD32 is the best antivirus there is. Norton is close to the worst.
Norton isn't the worst AV, but it's not worth the money. There are better AVs available for free, Avira being the one I use.
Avast! is better, free, and talks to your lonely ass.
Lets just say Norton is worse then a virus.
avast! Is better, free, and talks to your lonely ass.
VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED Scared me half to death the first time.
NOD32 is the second best form of anti-virus, following common sense.
inb4 hlo my mother says i haz 2 use nort0n cuz it has parental contr0l so i dont go on pronz
English. Try it.
Avast! is better, free, and talks to your lonely ass.
I've noticed most people here go with Avast, why is that? I tried it and couldn't stand it personally, I found the UI confusing and it lacks a scheduling function.
I've noticed most people here go with Avast, why is that? Those are the two main reasons I use it apart from being free.
Avast! is better, free, and talks to your lonely ass.
And when people ask what AV you use you can say, Avast! and they'll just think you're a pirate.
And when people ask what AV you use you can say, Avast! and they'll just think you're a pirate.
Avast me matey, Lets get off this Small World, you Scallywag.
Norton is better than AVG and some free things, though NOD32 does a much better job. I also find that the new norton takes WAY less resources than the older versions, though CommonSense 2009 hasn't slowed my system down at all. In the event that I suspect a file that I'm downloading to contain a virus, I run it through http://virusscan.jotti.org/en
VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED Scared me half to death the first time.
I was playing Crysis the first time that popped up. had the volume all the way up because I'm a dick to my neighbors. I nearly shit myself.
Norton is better than AVG
lol no
There is only one thing worse than Norton: McAfee
