Recently, I installed Windows 7 on my computer. After having to wrestle with a whole bunch of problems, I finally got it working properly (I ended up wiping the HDD clean, putting on Ubuntu, then installing Windows over it) I set everything up, there wasn't much I put on there, just a few programs.
Now, when I press the power button to boot up my computer, I get no response from my monitor, and I hear no sounds from my speaker. My computer starts its fan, beeps and acts like it's starting up, and I get no response at all.
My monitor is connected, I triple checked its power connection and its connection to the computer, so I'm not 100% sure what's wrong.

Never mind, turned out my monitor was busted.
