Nexus was an awesome game, but it's not nearly as old as some games that are still modded.

Nexus is a great platform for modding. That probably has something to do with it.

I'm pretty sure Star Trek Bridge Commander still has an active modding community and it's 2 years older than Nexus.
Hell, DOOM still has an active modding community in some aspects.

Nexus somehow managed to go under the Radar. Didn't help that Mithis was a Hungarian developer, and apparently game development isn't easy in Hungary. Check out my Nexus thread if you want more info. Or you could check out my youtube page for my Let's Play of it. :v:

Nope, this is an infinitely better Freespace in RTS form.
Gods I used to love Nexus - shame nexus 2 got canned. The tech vids for that looked absolutely stunning.
