The Fall of Troy are done with their new record, which is set for release October 6th So, we've finally finished recording our new record, which we've titled In the Unlikely Event! We're gonna have some webisodes coming out in the next little bit that document some of the stuff that happened while we were recording, and here is the first one. Stay tuned for more vids and information, and as always, thanks for all the support! We can't wait for you to hear the new music! -Andrew Personally, I cannot fucking wait. It sucks they cancelled the Eastpak Antidote Europe tour though. I'd already bought my ticket just for them :( Release date: October 6th
I hope the album sounds like Phantom/Ghostship.
I'm stoked.
Cool, a friend of mine will be very happy to hear about this.

Awesome, I can't wait.
Apparently this album is more mature? As long as it has the same quality as all of the past releases I'll be happy.
awesome that black bassist dude is badass but i must say that manipulator kinda sucked imo
Manipulator was awesome. You just need a broader taste to appreciate it to the fullest. Myself, I think Manipulator is one of the stronger albums by them. [editline]10:56AM[/editline]
I hope the album sounds like Phantom/Ghostship.
Very unlikely. The Ghostship demos/Phantom was a concept album.
Manipulator is their worst by far if you ask me. Still some awesome work on it though.
It just depends on your taste really. Their Self-Titled was alot of angsty screamy shit, which I love to death. Doppelgänger was more progressive and fucking awesome. But when they made Manipulator, they wanted to run into every direction possible. Cut Down All The Trees was very progressve and unusual for them, sounds alot like Rush in the end. The Dark Trail is on the rockier side, but still heavy. Quarter Past was the big surprise, where they got the influences from Led Zeppelin and such bands. Problem?! was a short in-your-face song. Semi-Fiction was very progressive aswell, still fucking amazing. Oh, The Casino?! sounds alot like old-school rockpop. From this point, the album went to the heavier side. Sledgehammer is a big slap in your face, aswell as Seattlantis. Then comes Ex-Creations, which is goddamn awesome. After that comes Shh!! If You're Quiet I'll Show You A Dinosaur, which is very soft in the beginning, but then goes fucking berserk, which is genius. It's like they're showing you this dreamworld, just to crash it down almost immediately. Then comes their jazzy ballad, Caught Up. I wouldn't call it jazz, but it has some interesting chords. Then comes the amazing ending, A Man, A Plan, A Canal Panama (read that backwards, it's a palindrome). It's just an awesome song altogether. I can't believe I just wrote all that shit. [editline]08:07PM[/editline] To summarize it: The Fall of Troy fucking rocks. [editline]08:08PM[/editline] To summarize it: The Fall of Troy fucking rocks.
I like this band hope the album is as good as the previous ones
In short what Ian D said.
It will blow you away.
Means a likely tour after cancelling the Eastpak tour!
Fuck yeah.
