• Italian Police Crash Their Lamborghini Gallardo
Remember that stunning Lamborghini Gallardo police car the cops in Italy were tooling about in? Well, let's just say that relationship hasn't ended well... Apparently police had swerved to avoid a car that had pulled out in front of them, and ended up smashing into a row of parked cars, with one SUV landing pretty much on top of it. No word yet on what the future holds for the bashed-up Lambo, but with Police chiefs already complaining that repairs on supercars are too expensive, we'd suggest keeping an eye for a used, slightly damaged Gallardo on e-Bay. Either way, we think this is the end of Lamborghini's crime-fighting.
Source.
Ugly paintjob annyway.
jesus christ [editline]09:44AM[/editline] this is why we can't have nice things!
They'll buy a new one, either Lamborghini gives them one, some other manufacturer does or some rich guy gifts them one.
Under the influence
It was bound to happen.
The driver was just doing what the car was built for to drive under other cars.
Nice paintjob. What are they, the fashion police? Also, how is a lamborghini practical for police work?
Nice paintjob. What are they, the fashion police? Also, how is a lamborghini practical for police work?
The off chance that some guy steals a sports car and the normal police cars can't catch up to him.
Lamborghinis are good when the driver is good, they just put some joker in the car and this happens.
The off chance that some guy steals a sports car and the normal police cars can't catch up to him.
Well, sure, but that can happen anywhere.
Nice paintjob. What are they, the fashion police? Also, how is a lamborghini practical for police work?
It's used mostly in high speed pursuits and delivering transplant organs
Lamborghinis are good when the driver is good, they just put some joker in the car and this happens.
A car is only as good as the driver. Especially if you are using a car like a Lambo. Maybe they should try and train people to use these cars better. It is definitely worth it if it is used properly, and if it helps deliver transplant organs then it is extremely important.
Apparently police had swerved to avoid a car that had pulled out in front of them
I heavily doubt that the driver was not a good one, it seems that it was the other car's fault (you can be the best driver in the world and you still won't be able to avoid a crash if a car jumps out in front of you when you are going at a certain speed).
You'd think they would use a chopper for organs.
You'd think they would use a chopper for organs.
It's far more practical to just use a fast car. Helicopter: "Holy shit holy shit, get to dah choppar and fly this liver to that hospital!" Sign off permission to borrow the shiny new chopper. Engine warming up.. Engine warming up.. Contact ATC for permission to takeoff. Land at hospital's helipad. Turn off the engine and get to the transplant unit. Lamborghini: "Holy shit holy shit, get to the lambo and fly this liver to that hospital! Get keys, turn on ignition Drive away super fast badass style. "SKIT SKIT BANG BANG NIGGARS." Reach hospital, backflip out of the car with the liver in your hands.
It's used mostly in high speed pursuits and delivering transplant organs
The organs I can see. If you're chasing someone at speeds that require a Lamborghini, maybe you should just let them go. It's a risk to public safety.
This is what happens when you let an italian behind the wheel of something powerful.
This is what happens when you let an italian behind the wheel of something powerful.
Lamborghini is an Italian Company...
Lamborghini is an Italian Company...
Does that disprove his point? :P
Lamborghini is an Italian Company...
Aside from being owned by Audi.
The next plot mission for Assassin's Creed 2 :ohdear:.
Lamborghini is an Italian Company...
He said behind the wheel, not behind the machine that makes the wheel.
These officers need to stop playing burnout.
You forgot manuever through traffic, have to turn corners and so on and so on.
..Dude, I was making a point. Which is more badass; a liver being transported to the hospital in a fucking lamborghini or a helicopter?
And not all cities have a helicopter at hands. And getting one from another city might just be FUCKING expensive, especially if it uses like 300l of fuel per hour.
..Dude, I was making a point. Which is more badass; a liver being transported to the hospital in a fucking lamborghini or a helicopter?
I think the chopper but whatever.
Nice paintjob. What are they, the fashion police? Also, how is a lamborghini practical for police work?
It's mostly a publicity stunt just like the British police have a Lotus and a Caparo T-1 police cars.
