James Earl Jones would 'love' to return to Star Wars
James Earl Jones says he would love to voice Darth Vader in a new Star Wars movie if given the opportunity.
Since Star Wars creator George Lucas sold his Lucasfilm empire to The Walt Disney Co for $US4.05 billion last year, three sequels have been announced as well as plans for spin-off movies focusing on specific characters.
Disney has not confirmed which characters these spin-offs would concentrate on, but Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger told CNBC the standalone movies will be based on "great Star Wars characters that are not part of the overall saga".
If Darth Vader were to make a return, Jones, who originally voiced the iconic character in Star Wars Episode IV, V and VI, said he would definitely be on board. "Oh yeah, I would love to be a part of that," he told media in Sydney, while promoting the play Driving Miss Daisy."David Prowse would return in the costume and I would do the voice for David." Disney has said the standalone films would be released during the six-year period of the new trilogy, starting in 2015 with Star Wars: Episode VII, with Star Trek director JJ Abrams taking the helm. Jones likes the idea of making more Star Wars movies. "It's money isn't it?" he said, getting laughs from the media. "It's always a good idea. But George has left. George has gone onto something else."

Force ghost, handwave away why Anakin sounds like an old black man as an adult.
Having vader return would be dumb.
All of these actors, whose characters in the series are dead, need to go away.
Darth Vader Jr. Muahahahaha
Use some of that clone plot. I heard people love that.

But he will return probably. He's the most recognizable character from Star Wars (like Yoda), and his presence may bring more viewers to the cinema.

Luke?
maybe some flashback happens and vadar appears in ghost form and reminds lukes son not to go to the darkside?
Guys, this isn't saying that Vader's in 7, its just saying if he WAS, he'd be interesting in returning to the role.
Or just have the film take place before IV but after III

I'd like a bit more Galactic Civil War stuff, too. Maybe something that doesn't make the Empire look so inept.

i wouldn't mind having something like that
Remember when all these big stars shunned the idea of the new movies?

That's not how you make a good movie.
before IV but after III
Going from the books and other EU stuff I can safely say this is the second most interesting period in the entire series.

The Clone Wars cartoon, animated movie and animated series were incredibly successful. I'm sure that they can do a movie.

They're probably the last because they kept their fucking heads down rather than try and lead a galactic uprising.

Good movies not always make great money.

He got fucking cremated
There's no returning from that

Force Ghost, like at the end of Return of The Jedi.

maybe his wife found his magic jedi ring or something and revived him
his revived form will be incredibly unstable and burn itself out obviously
Have him play Mace Windu

He's already at the end of epVI anyway as anakin, he probably wouldn't sound like he did in the suit

But she died in III!

he remarried
boom.

a whole adventures of RCs doing order 66 would literally be the best
act of valor meets star wars
Force ghost, handwave away why Anakin sounds like an old black man as an adult.
There was a scene in Star Wars: Legacy where Anakin's force ghost morphs into Vader, they could do something similar.

That was when star wars was firmly entrenched in the hands of greedy hack merchant.
is Temuera Morrison starring in the new movies?
