Youtube started being shit ever it got taken over by Google.
Something of value was lost.
Once you get used to it, you'll love it.
Sorry, but this is at least 2 months old. Some people were fortunate enough to be selected to participate, looks like now they're releasing it to a wider audience.
I do like this new interface though, it's simpler and compacted.
Turn it off if you don't like it:

Old UI Sucked, but you could download videos with greasemonkey.
This fucks up all the greasemonkey scripts.

I never have to wait for any ads to finish, and my videos usually load in a matter of seconds.
Maybe it depends on which country you're from or something.
They keep changing the shit UI to see if people like any.
None of them so far are good.
