Its stopped responding twice in the 2 days I have got it and not too long ago it just, shut off completely. Had to unplug/plug it back into the usb. Trying to figure out whats the problem.
Specs:
AMD FX 8150@4.3ghz (its ok, laugh)
MSI R7970 Lightning (stock)
MSI 890FXA-GD70 (bios is latest)
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
12gb ddr3 1600mhz (stock)
Now, my friend that lives with me also has one. He has similar specs, and a board that also uses amd filter driver for the usb. I recently updated my driver and it turned off some time after. I was also charging my cellphone and I am unsure if that can cause it but I saw it could for the 790i chipsets, so maybe? I was refereed here by a friend that said a lot of users on facepunch have this or similar keyboard. Its been a very long time since I have come here.
Also I tried to search first but the search said I did not have permission to access?
The G19 uses an adapter for the extra power it needs. The connector of it is pretty shitty I discovered myself, also the adapter itself is kinda crap (coil whine since day one). I think you should check these.
The reason that the keyboard works again after replugging the USB could be because the USB and power cable are connected to each other, and fiddling with it could cause the connector to move.
Ahh ok. Well as it stands I left the keyboard active all night, display and all. Still working 100% since removing my cellphone from its USB. Will continue through the day. If it comes down to the wall plug sucking, can I replace it with a better one? I really like this keyboard.
On a unrelated note my space bar kind of squeeks.
You could try contacting Logitech and they will most likely send you a new one.
It stopped happening when I stopped charging my cellphone on the keyboard. I have actually stopped using all usbs. About to try playing a game for a few hours with the use of a 360 pad, plugged into the keyboard.
