Hello.
My Radeon HD 6870 died today :'(. So I'm asking you guys for any recommendations on what graphics cards I should buy. I use my PC for gaming. I am looking for an ATI card.
I am from Slovenia (Central EU) and my budget is not more than 300€
Thanks for all of your answers.

I was looking around and i found the sapphire r9 280x. its right around 300€ and its powerful too. what do u guys think

After more searching i found VGA GIGABYTE AMD R9 270X 4GB its maybe a little less powerful than the 280x but i save 50€
Here is the difference between the two cards http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1043?vs=1041
If you think it's worth the difference get the 280x if not get the 270x, but I would suggest the 280x. Also what resolution do you play at because you may not even need the power the 280x has.
You can get a 770 for about 230-280 euros so if you don't mind getting Nvidia get that. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1037?vs=1041
The 280x is good, but due to crypto currency miners, it's very expensive for the price. The GTX 770 is cheaper and more powerful. If you don't want Nvidia, go for the 280x.

My res is 1920 by 1080

Also what about a Palit GeForce GTX 770 2GB OC

They are actually reliable for a cheaper brand. I would go for MSI with the Twin Frozr fans personally, but Palit should work just fine.
What games do you play?
i play csgo mostly, but i enjoy to hop on bf3, max payne 3 and stuff thats requires kinda alot.
Nvidia is preferred if you're going to be doing any kind of recording due to their shadowplay feature.
But if you're not recording, than a 280x would be great. It's MORE than enough for 1080p gaming.
Only if it is at a good price point though.
If you see a gtx 770 marginally cheaper go for that since it performs nearly the same as a 280x.

CS: GO will easily be maxed. I play at medium high on my integrated graphics while I wait for my video card. Battlefield should max and Max Payne should do fine. The 770 maxes most games except something like heavily modded Skyrim and Witcher 2 with Ubersampling
I have a 770 it maxes out BF3 and BF4 at above 60fps at all times, except if you are in a 64 player match and there is a ton of explosions in one area then it will drop down into to mid 40's for a second in BF4, but regular gunfights will stay at or above 60.

Actually in most of Europe the prices of AMD cards haven't shot up like the US
The Palit GeForce GTX 770 2GB OC is just over 300€, its like 302€ so I'm probably going for that.
Yeah I also forgot to mention I play arma and dayz. How does a 770 work on these games?

Excellently. I have a 4gb GTX 680, which is essentially the same exact card with twice the RAM. It blows through DayZ at max without a sweat.

And in 1080p on DayZ 2gb will be more than enough.

Yep. Only benefit you'd see to more is for multi monitor games and if you had a stupid amount of uncompressed textures in a game.
Ordered a VGA GIGABYTE AMD R9 270X 4GB because it was the cheapest of these three. Thanks for all the help guys ;)
