while it looks fantastic, i highly doubt these types of mockups using nes limitations would actually work on the nes's hardware. some of those shots have like every colour it supports on screen at the same time.

although the nes has been around for 30+, who knows what people could do with an nes today considering how far people have been able to stretch the power of consoles in the past.

The mock-ups are more Shovel Knight than genuine, something that is clearly invoking NES imagery but would be unfeasible on genuine hardware with that much detail.
