I still think an awesome side-mission would be a Simo Hayha challenge.
I.E Play as Simo and attempt to get as many kills as possible within a certain time. Also no scope [I]BECAUSE HE NEVER USED ONE[/I].

Sniper: Ghost Warrior as shown in the video has nothing to do with the Sniper Elite games.
So, there will be none of that.
And give us some indication of range. I know they didn't have range finders but god damn give us some map tools or at least let us zero the god damn gun to anything more that 10 meters

Medal of Honour Underground had one or two missions in Egypt too, IIRC, and I think Allied Assault had a few missions, in addition to MoH: AA: Breakthrough, which was mostly North Africa.
Hell, I actually miss the WW2 MoHs, all of the Allied Assault ones were absolutely great, and I had a load of fun on Underground back when I only had a Playstation.

sniper elite v2 was too FPS-ey if that makes any sense. was just a slideshow gallery where you watched x-rays of people getting shot in the eyeball
