Kanye West deleted a number of tweets about his meeting with Donald Trump late last year. West met with then President-elect Trump amid significant criticism for the photo op and an earlier admission that he would have likely voted for the polarising businessman. TMZ reported that West has been unhappy with Mr Trump's first two weeks in office. In particular, he is displeased with the President's executive order to temporarily ban immigration and travel from seven majority Muslim countries.
http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/kanye-west-donald-trump-deleted-tweets-president-trump-tower-a7565896.html I love you Kanye. I knew you'd see the light soon enough. :joy:
does that mean that we still get to keep kayne mtv told me i could keep him glad kayne is gettin smarter
I love you Kanye. I knew you'd see the light soon enough. :joy:
By light, you mean the sales of his music in majority Muslim countries?
I like the new Kanye
does that mean that we still get to keep kayne mtv told me i could keep him
Have you invested in a big enough Kanye bed and litterbox? It's a big responsibility looking after your very own Yeezus. I can only assume he was behind Trump because of the mirage of success Trump puts on, now that his administration is falling apart at the seams it's kinda hard to keep that image going.
Kanye getting ready for 2020 I see
Yes kanye
In what way does this redeem Kanye? Anyone who couldn't see how fucking horrible Trump was before he got elected is going to have a very, very difficult time earning my respect.
In what way does this redeem Kanye? Anyone who couldn't see how fucking horrible Trump was before he got elected is going to have a very, very difficult time earning my respect.
his explanation for meeting with him was to have a communication bridge from trump to the black communities but I think kanye realized that trying to communicate with trump would be impossible so why bother hiding your distaste for the orange bastard - smash the delete button on the tweets, run for 2020.

My dad liked Trump (and still likes him) on the grounds of his no-nonsense personality (because my dad has a similar personality), but now dislikes him on his policies and general stupidity in office.
If trumps not listening to protests Kanye may have expected that his words would fall on deaf ears Plus trump tweeted about invading Chicago He's given up hope
He needs to do more than delete his tweets imo. [editline]6th February 2017[/editline] I also think he needs to step up his game after Pablo.
Do people legitimately want Kanye for president, or is this some kind of ongoing meme a select few actually believe in? From what I understand of his political ideology, he seems like the antithesis of what most users here want, and his personality is hardly less ego-driven than our current POTUS.
Kanye is, no joke, going to be the next domino.

I remember someone in the last thread about Kanye 2020 did a pretty good writeup. Wanna say it was Isaak

So if I deleted/snipped all my Trump posts, would I technically drop support for Trump is what I am sensing here? Could just be community pressure.
I never thought Kanye would keep his support of Trump in light of his racist policies; Kanye's never been afraid to speak up about race.
So if I deleted/snipped all my Trump posts, would I technically drop support for Trump is what I am sensing here? Could just be community pressure.
You would also have to stop making more pro-trump posts. :v: I've noticed cructo seems to have toned his support back.
So if I deleted/snipped all my Trump posts, would I technically drop support for Trump is what I am sensing here? Could just be community pressure.
honestly? yeah
It's over, Trump is finished.
I'll believe it when does a diss track
what a pussy way to pull support
why should people care that kanye no longer supporting trump, it's kayne he will always be crazy like this?
Anyone acting like this absolves kanye is playing straight into the PR move.
Anyone acting like this absolves kanye is playing straight into the PR move.
There's a huge potential with celebrities to spread a message. We should be encouraging all to denounce Trump. Many on Twitter are asking Kanye to directly denounce Trump.
News about Kanye meeting with Trump: "REEEEEEEE I ALWAYS HATED KANYE HISSSSS" News about Kanye deleting Trump meeting tweets: "Oh my god I knew you were smart all along Lord Yeezy hlurhglrughlaughruga" This is so transparent it hurts.
He's displeased with the one thing Trump has been preaching ever since starting his bid for presidency? Is he displeased with Trump building a wall too?
this absolves kanye of nothing and even if he does have shitty opinions does not change any merit his work has.
