Hello there. So, i'm one of the few weirdos that plays source games on linux, and 1 week ago i tried out TF2. It went really smooth and no crashes, but, dxlevel 80. I tried to put dxlevel 90, 95 etc. but it keeps giving me a black screen after the valve intro. Also, i can perfectly control the menu because its still operative, and you can hear the background music play, but it doesn't display the menu. I searched on Steam Forums, and seems to be a common thing, not only from linux.

In Windows 7, I could play it maxed out with 70-80 FPS, so either it's the drivers, or Wine itself.
Wine version, your specs, your driver version, your linux distro, etc.
