• ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - CPU FAN ERROR + Isn't spinning on startup

So recently, I got the parts for my new homebuilt PC installed and ready to use, everything was hooked up according to the instructions (AMD) but when I go to turn the PC.. the fan spins a bit.. then stops. The BIOS reads a CPU FAN ERROR. I've googled around a bit but not found anything particularly conclusive. I took it out and put the stock cooler in for now because I didn't want to take any further risk. So, anyone got any suggestions? I can't figure out whats up.. I thought maybe it wasn't getting the correct amount of power, I was going to get a CPU_FAN connector to molex and hook it directly to my PSU.. (500W) but that seems like a bad way of doing it.
If you tried plugging the CPU fan into the CPU_FAN 3 prong (newer boards can have a 4 or 5 prong connector for PWM, but 3 prong connectors still work) and the fan isn't spinning, it could either indicate a problem with the motherboard, or a problem with the fan itself. Go ahead and try the molex to fan connector adapter and see if the fan works. If it does work, then you have a problem with the motherboard.
I had this issue, send it back and get it replaced.
I'm going to try the molex thing.. if that doesn't work I'll RMA it.
