I recently ran a driver check, and 19 drivers were out of date. I do not know how to update them, or specifically, which one to update to fix this [thread=1029513]problem.[/thread] Temps: I am very new to computers, and I have no idea about most of my specs. All I know is: Hp Pavilion model Windows 7. Thank you for reading and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It must be your video card drivers, what is your display card? unless i am blind and it's right in front of me? However, for future reference: ATI DRIVERS: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx NVIDIA DRIVERS: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
My display card is out-of-date. Is this the problem?
That problem looks like artifacting. If that's the case, your graphics hardware is shot. Can you get us a full list of specs for your computer?
I know that this sounds fucking stupid, but I have no clue what my specs are. Not even my graphics card. I've Google searched and searched but I have no idea where in my computer I can find them. My family doesn't know either.
http://www.piriform.com/speccy by the way, whatever told you that 19 drivers were out of date is probably bollocks.
He's saying graphics card, but that picture up there suggests integrated graphics. I'm so confused.

I'm going to assume you bought a pre-built, yes .. common problem with those is, they have sufficient amount of ram and HDD space and yet they give you the shittiest mobos and then give you a piece of shit chipset, and you still have to pay a shitload. edit: honestly, i don't know if they even have updates for those chipsets, well now that i think of it that's the same chipset my cousins 1000 dollar prebuilt came with and he had to buy a new video card but was limited to a small selection since the mobo was also crap too
Go ahead and download THIS and install it. Let us know if that "artifacting" problem persists.
Sadly, the Intel GPUs are not so great when it comes to gaming.

Apparently there isn't an update for my chipset, or, like PhantomPain said, there isn't an update at all.
Well then there's no driver issue here.
So...I basically have to buy a new (and different) "chipset?"
You could buy a graphics card. Does your motherboard have one of THESE?
Thanks!
