• capital letters not working.

capital letters is only working for the first letter key row of keys on my keyboard, if I try to do it on the other two rows, then the motherboard just beeps. help? These are all the letters I can capitalize: BEGHINOPQRTUWY Also, turning on caps lock works.

if it's got drivers, try reinstalling them.
USB or PS/2? [editline]09:57PM[/editline] You're, somehow, pressing more buttons than your PC can handle. All I can think of is that there's a short of some kind in your keyboard, due to a liquid of some kind. Absolutely no keyboards should have a problem pressing shift + any other key.
