Mother Fucking Review Of The Goddamn G&G MK18 CQBR

I know I already made a review for this gun, but I'm going to do it again because all my reviews have pretty much sucked.

-Real Steel History
The CQBR (Close Quarters Battle Receiver) is a replacement upper receiver for the M4A1. It easily changes the barrel length to 10.3 inches, making it a modern equivalent to the XM177. The modification entered service in 2000 as part of the SOPMOD Block II kit. The MK18 is the pre-assembled variant of the CQBR, with no other differences. It is currently used by the US Army and many SWAT and Police forces worldwide.
-First Impressions
In the box is a gun, high capacity magazine (slightly longer than other mags), vertical grip, cleaning rod, manuals, and some bbs (which are awwrite to use). The gun includes rail covers, an RIS system, cut off rear sight, crane stock, and a CQB flash hider. Upon lifting the gun out of the box I noticed how light it was. This is because of the magnesium body. It saves on weight and makes it just as strong as steel or any other material. The included rail covers and vertical grip give you a comfortable method of gripping no matter who you are, as well as the crane stock giving you nice cheek weld. The charging handle does nothing but get fucked up and fall out, you have to manually open the dust cover to adjust the hop up. Everything else about the gun is standard for an AR; controls and pistol grip are pretty regular.
-Externals
The externals are very nicely done. A lightly textured black paint has been skillfully applied all over the gun, and is quite difficult to scratch off. My gun had a 75th Ranger body on it, but it seems to not be standard. Every part on the gun that should be metal is metal, except the body which is again, magnesium. The only places there is slight wobble on is the stock (which is usual for retractable AR stocks), RIS, and mag. There was one big flaw in the gun though, and that is the buffer tube. The buffer tube was able to twist around for some reason, and after doing that for a short time, cut the wires. After fixing the wires and making sure the buffer tube is still, there were no other flaws.
-Internals
The gun is very easy to get into, as is any AR. removing two pins and sliding the gun apart is all it takes. The one piece metal hop up is good quality, and works well. It has a 6.04 barrel that gives it great accuracy. To get to the gearbox you need to remove the stock, grip, body pin, and mag release. After that, you have the gearbox. The shell is reinforced everywhere, and I don't see anything inside breaking soon. The gears are of alright quality, but nothing to write home about. I can foresee some of the teeth breaking off if your rate of fire is too high. Everything else is top quality, and will stand up to abuse. The don't see any problems arising soon, so that's definitely a great thing.
-Performance
The gun chronos at about 360 FPS with .2g bbs, just a tad high for CQB engagements. With a 9.6 nunchuck battery it shoots 23 RPS or 1380 RPM. At 50 feet I pretty much guarantee a kill with the first 1-2 shots. At 100 feet you can also easily expect kills with accurate bursts. Anything past 150 feet will take a few more shots to get, and due to the FPS they easily may not feel it. Overall the accuracy is excellent for most types of engagements.
-Final ratings (out of 100)
100= Best evar/ 80= Pretty great/ 60= Okay/ 40= Pretty much fails to do it's job/ 20= Dis shit don't work/
Internals- 80
Externals- 80
Performance- 75
Realism-60
Overall-80

To rate the internals, did you open the gearbox? What about the piston? The cylinder? The air compression system design? Is it alright? Or is it the fucking bad G&G air compression still?

I opened it. The piston could use a different o ring but it's alright. The cylinder is pretty good. It's compression is great, I never saw a G&G that didn't have great compression.
The piston head flaw in the G&G's isn't the O-ring, it's in the head ventilation system.
Just pointing it out. Out of the nearly hundreds of G&G's I opened, they all had this flaw.
The compression just plain out sucks, and often, they use a one level higher spring just to compensate.
How would you make it better?

If your asking me, I would add a new hop up rubber, O ring on the piston, and just maybe reinforce the gears if you planning to be using a battery bigger than a 9.6.
To make it better, as I alway say with anyone having G&G's or CM, change the bloody compression system.
And you don't need to change the gears.
And changing only the piston head O-ring won't change much.

The gears on mine were kinda wimpy looking, not something I would be wanting to run a lipo or something on. A new O ring should make the compression better, not perfect, but better.
The O-ring on the G&G's is usually a bit smaller, while that is true, it won't change anything, as the bad compression comes from the piston head & cylinder head.
And are you aware that for running "perfectly" on lipo, you'd need half teeth piston & gears, and the piston should have the second tooth removed. But generally you do not need new gears when you run 9.6/10.8v.
If you do, consider your rifle with lemon gears.
Beside that, your G&G probably can run on lipo's. Take in note that each step of battery you take, you remove a bit of your inners life.
I said I wouldn't need new anything to run a 9.6. Also, if you would please stop arguing against me it would be much appreciated. This is not your gun, it is mine, and you've never opened it, used it, or seen it used.
Not trying to be rude bro, just stating what I saw with the hundreds of G&G's I opened.
Hell been running a 11.1v lipo on my CM M4 stock for a year with no problems. Grant it it cycles too fast to feed on full auto, but it's great for semi auto games. Although I think my lipos are a little old, seem like they're getting weaker.
Honestly I've run just about all my guns on lipos with no problems in stock form.
I think the XCR can run lipos perfectly on stock. In fact Socom Gear makes the specific battery for it.

Yeah, you can pretty much run any rifles on lipos out of the box.
So uh, pics??
Oh lol right. I'll get on that today.
