This game is great, It's a step up from Civilization V in complexity and feels a lot more balanced than most 4X games.
Also this is the third expansion.

Unpopular?? The game was really well received at launch, has been supported with updates and the works frequently. It is also a really good game.

What? This game was all over the place on release, being regarded as the best 4x game in recent years by pretty much everyone.
And it honestly feels like it, it's a really good game.
